During the winter of 2004, the first Distinguished Alumni Committee was formed through the resourcefulness of superintendent Dr. Barbara Townsend. The purpose was to honor graduates of Bradford High School who had excelled in their field of study or persons who had displayed excellent service to the school. The award was established not only to honor these persons, but to be an inspiration to current students to aim high to achieve their personal goals.
All Distinguished Alumnists’ pictures are displayed on the brick wall outside the doors of the media center. Each year the pictures of the new inductees will be added to the “Wall of Fame”.
