High School Lunch (6-12) - $3.00
Adult Lunch - $4.50
Elementary Breakfast (K-5) - $1.75
High School Breakfast (6-12) - $1.85
Changes to School Lunch and Breakfast
Over the past several years there have been many changes made by the federal and state government that dictate what students can and can’t be served as part of the National School Lunch program. The goal is to combat childhood obesity. Some of the changes include:
-Children must take at least 1/2 cup of fruit or vegetable each day
-Healthier snack choice must have at least 50% whole grain
-For K-8, al a carte drink choices will be limited to water, 100% fruit juice, milk, 100% sparking fruit juice
-For 9-12, a la carte drinks will also include zero calorie soft drinks, powerade, tea, and flavored waters
