Superintendent's Message

A Message from Bradford Superintendent, Joe Hurst

Joe Hurst

Welcome to Bradford Exempted Village School District.  As a Railroader I am excited to play my part in the pride and excitement at Bradford EVSD.  This K-12 building of close to 500 students shows enormous potential coupled with a rich history of railroad heritage and community bonds.

As we celebrate 150 years of tradition, we are proud of the changes that have brought even more pride to our district!  This year we will play football in our new stadium and host our first track meet on the new 8-lane all weather track.  Thank you to the community for supporting this venture and we hope to share more in the coming year with the building project.

We are proud to see improvements everyday in the classroom.  Our one-to-one chromebook program is now entering its sixth year and has shown increased availability for curriculum and structure.  Our students and teachers have utilized this to increase the online footprint in our district and grow academically to meet the needs of our ever changing world.

I am honored to be a part of this great school and hope that I can continue to build trusting relationships with our staff, students and community.  Our mission explains “Bradford Schools will be a student-centered school of excellence supported by staff, students, parents, and community.”  I appreciate your continued support in making this mission possible!  Please feel free to contact me with questions or concerns at 937-448-2770 or [email protected].  For updates on school events and news, please follow me on twitter at @BradfordEVSD or visit our website at Bradford.k12.oh.us

Thank you for your continued support and go Railroaders!
