Counseling Help for the Summer

Bradford Schools would like to express that our thoughts and prayers are with the family of DJ Hawes as they work though this difficult time as well as with our students who are suffering the loss of a friend and a classmate. Any students or parents who would like to seek out counseling during this time are encouraged to contact either Pastor Louie Reindel or Reverend Dan Scalf who have both volunteered to be available over the summer. Elementary Summer Bridge Activities
We want students to enjoy summer, relax, and spend time with their families this summer.  We also want to ensure they retain everything they have learned during the school year.  So this year, we are offering a summer bridge activity for every elementary student.  Please click below for more information.
School Year Extended to make up Calamity Days

When Bradford schools canceled class on Friday, February 20th, that was our 9th calamity day of the year. As you are aware, calamity days 6 though 8 were made up with Blizzard Bag assignments. With this last cancelation, as well as any further cancellations, we will need to make up those days by adding days at the end of the school year. So please mark your calendars that at this time we are adding one school day and the last day of school for this year is now Thursday, May 21st.

SEAL rules
Tuesday, February 17, 2015, the elementary will begin our next area for PBIS. Previously students have been working on proper behavior in the hallway (WHALE rules) and in the cafeteria (SHARK rules). We will add the SEAL rules for the gymnasium in the morning for students that arrive before school begins. The SEAL rules are: Sit in a line, Everyone keep your coat and backpack on, Always use quiet voices, and Legs on the floor. There have been quite a few behavior issues in the gym before school, so students will now be required to sit quietly and wait for the bell. If your child does not eat breakfast, they do not need to be to school until around 7:50-7:55a.m. (It is not necessary to arrive early if your child is not eating breakfast.) Again, students will earn Rs for their class for following the new SEAL rules.
