Try not to start out with Dear, since we don't have any specific names of the residents. Use Hello or Hi.

One paragraph is fine.

Sign: Sincerely, your first name only

Add clip art, make it look nice!

Once I get these, I will mail them to a couple of local nursing homes.

Say something about you know they can't have visitors, so I wanted to brighten your day with a letter.
