This year we are excited to have some new faces here at Bradford Schools. In order to help you get to know them we have asked our staff to answer some questions. Each month we will highlight one of these staff members. This month we are highlighting our new Athletic Director, Chloe Shell.
1. Tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from? Where did you go to school? Tell us about your family.
I am a Covington grad. I went to Bluffton University for undergrad and William Woods University (MO), for grad school. Softball is my sport of choice, and I have played/coached at all levels. Currently I reside in Bradford with my fiance Seth and our dog Lola. We love traveling, camping, visiting our families, and we are looking forward to our wedding next June.
2. What are you looking forward to this school year?
This year I am most looking forward to getting to know the kids and building the pride back into this community.
3. Who was your favorite teacher when you were growing up? Why?
My 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Rudy and my 1st grade grade teacher Mrs. Bunn were fun and fantastic role models. They made learning interesting and challenging. Both of them instilled in me a love for reading.
4. What are your hobbies?
Being an athletic director I don’t have a lot of time for hobbies. However, cleaning, camping, reading, and hiking are always fun when I get the chance!
5. If you could have a cup of coffee with anyone living or dead, who would it be and why?
If I could have a cup of coffee with anyone in the world right now it would be my grandma Mac. She passed two summers ago, and I would love to chat with her about all the crazy things that have happened since she’s been gone. She was truly my best friend. (We would go to Winans for white chocolate wurtle frappuccinos...her favorite)
6. Is there anything else you would like to share with us?
