Superintendent's Message

Welcome back to the start of the 2016-2017 school year!  I hope everyone enjoyed a restful and rejuvenating summer with an opportunity to spend quality time with friends and family.  It is an honor to be your superintendent and a privilege to work with such wonderful students, parents, staff, and community members.  I am looking forward to the continued success of Bradford Schools and the opportunity to work collaboratively with the board of education, staff, students, and community.

This is my seventeenth year in education.  I have ten years of experience in school administration, which includes experience at the elementary level, the middle school level, the high school level, and the district level.  Having administrative experience at every level has provided me the comprehensive insight in understanding the K-12 setting and the necessary experience needed to serve the district in this capacity.

I will work to help ensure fiscal stability, improve student and staff achievement, build upon established positive community relationships, and help continue the expected tradition of excellence for Bradford Exempted Village Schools.  In doing so, we must concentrate on the processes that spur continuing advancement: evaluating what we have, determining what we can do to improve, and identifying what we need to make those improvements.

We are in the business of helping our students be successful.  As a result, we must be willing to embrace high expectations (individually and collectively), consistently deliver highly effective instruction, and never lose focus of what really matters—our students.

Once again, it is an honor to be the superintendent of Bradford Exempted Village Schools.  Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns.  I can be reached at 937-448-2770 or

Thank you for your ongoing support of Bradford Schools and for your relentless commitment to student success.  I’m looking forward to the new school year and expecting that 2016-2017 will be our best year yet!

Go Railroaders!
